USA Celebs is a free-to-read, independently operated celebrity news site. To keep it that way, we may from time to time accept advertising, affiliate, and sponsored partnerships. This page explains exactly what we will and will not accept, and how those partnerships are presented to readers.
Display advertising
USA Celebs does not currently run third-party display advertising. If we activate a network such as Google AdSense or Mediavine, we will (a) update this page, (b) update our Cookie Policy, and (c) display a clear consent banner to visitors in regions that require one.
Sponsored content
If we publish a sponsored article — meaning a brand has paid for the placement — the article will:
- Be tagged “Sponsored” or “Paid Partnership” at the top.
- Identify the sponsor by name in the byline area.
- Use
rel="sponsored"on outbound links to the sponsor. - Not be designed to look like an editorial story written by the USA Celebs newsroom.
We refuse sponsored content that asks us to make false claims about a person, product, or service.
Affiliate links
Some links in product-recommendation or shopping articles may be affiliate links from networks such as Amazon Associates or ShareASale. If you click an affiliate link and buy the product, USA Celebs may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Where this applies, the article includes a clear “this article contains affiliate links” disclosure near the top, and outbound links use rel="sponsored" or rel="nofollow" as appropriate.
PR pitches and gifts
Public-relations agents may send us press releases and review samples for editorial consideration. Receipt of a sample is never a promise of coverage. Where a sample is reviewed and would not have been purchased independently, the review notes that the product was provided. The decision to cover or not cover any story remains with the editor.
The wall between editorial and business
Advertisers and sponsors do not get to read or revise editorial articles before publication. They cannot request the removal or modification of an unrelated editorial story as a condition of doing business with us. Our Editorial Policy explains how decisions are made.
