About USA Celebs

Welcome to USA Celebs — an independent U.S. entertainment news site covering celebrity culture, film, music, fashion, and red-carpet moments with accuracy, respect, and clearly sourced reporting. We are not a rumor aggregator: every story is written by a named member of our editorial team, dated, and open to correction.

Our mission

The internet does not need another tabloid. It does need a calm, fact-checked alternative — a place where readers can keep up with American pop culture without sensationalism, invasive speculation, or recycled rumor mills. That is what we are building.

Our specialty is context. When we report a celebrity net-worth figure, a filming-location guide, or an awards record, we tell you where the number or fact comes from, label estimates as estimates, and link the reporting behind it. The goal is celebrity coverage you can actually trust and cite.

Meet the editorial team

USA Celebs is founded and led by editor-in-chief Sonali Baidya and written by a team of named staff writers based in the United States. Together the team has published more than 1,000 stories across seven coverage areas — celebrity news, movies, television, music, fashion, red carpet, and awards. Every writer has a public profile page listing their work, so you always know who reported the story you are reading.

Sonali Baidya — Founder & Editor-in-Chief

Sonali is an independent journalist based in New York who founded USA Celebs to give readers a fact-checked alternative to tabloid noise. She sets the site’s editorial standards, edits the team’s work, and covers U.S. entertainment, celebrity culture, and film and music industry stories. Read her full background on the Meet the Editor page.

Jessica Morgan — Senior Staff Writer

With 300+ published stories, Jessica leads our celebrity-news and red-carpet fashion coverage, plus biography and “where are they now” guides — always sourced from established reporting rather than fan speculation.

Ryan Mitchell — Staff Writer

Ryan covers pop culture, celebrity relationships, and the viral moments that dominate American social feeds, along with awards-season and celebrity body-art coverage — 250+ stories and counting.

Emily Carter — Staff Writer

Emily specializes in TV, film, and music coverage — award-season buzz, streaming premieres, and breakout talent — with 200+ stories tracking what American audiences care about most.

Casey Walsh — Staff Writer

Casey writes our celebrity tattoo and body-art reference guides, turning red-carpet reveals and verified press photography into clear, accurately attributed explainers — without inventing symbolism or unconfirmed artist credits.

The wider desk

Our movies, TV, and features desks also include Ethan Brooks (movies), Natalie Wright (movies & TV), Rebecca Stone (entertainment desk), Maya Chen (TV & streaming), Isabella Ruiz (TV shows), and Ricardo Vega (movies). Each writer’s byline links to a full archive of their work.

Editorial standards & how we work

Our reporting is governed by a written Editorial Policy that defines how we source stories, when we use anonymous sources, how we handle photos, and how we disclose any AI-assisted research. In short:

  • Sourcing. Claims are attributed to named, checkable reporting; net-worth and earnings figures are clearly labelled as estimates, not audited facts.
  • Fact-checking. Stories are verified before they go live, not after.
  • Corrections. When we get something wrong we fix it in public and log it — see our Corrections Policy.
  • Photos & copyright. We use licensed or permitted imagery and honour takedown requests through our DMCA Policy.
  • AI disclosure. Any AI-assisted research is checked by a human editor before publication; bylines belong to the people responsible for the story.

Ownership, funding & independence

USA Celebs is independently owned and operated by its founder, Sonali Baidya. It is not owned by a media network, studio, publicist, or PR agency, and no third party dictates what we cover.

The site is funded by advertising and, at times, clearly labelled affiliate links or sponsored features. Advertising never influences our editorial judgement, and sponsored content is always identified as such. You can read exactly what we will and will not accept in our Advertising Disclosure.
