Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni have officially settled their 18-month legal battle over the film It Ends With Us, just two weeks before trial was set to begin.
In a surprising twist, neither party received any monetary compensation from the settlement itself. The deal was filed in federal court on May 7, 2026.
Lively retains all claims for attorney fees, treble damages, and punitive damages under California Civil Code Section 47.1 — the law protecting harassment survivors.
Lively's attorneys said the settlement ended once and for all the fiction that she fabricated claims of sexual harassment and retaliation during production.
