Sundance Film Festival 2026 winners Grand Jury Prizes were announced January 30 at The Ray Theatre in Park City. Josephine, Nuisance Bear, Shame and Money, and To Hold a Mountain claimed the four top competitive honors.

Josephine directed by Beth de Araujo won the U.S. Dramatic Grand Jury Prize. The San Francisco-set drama about a young witness also claimed the Audience Award on the Sundance Film Festival 2026 winners list.

Nuisance Bear by Gabriela Osio Vanden and Jack Weisman won U.S. Documentary Grand Jury. The polar bear migration film topped the Sundance Film Festival 2026 winners documentary competition over strong rivals.

Shame and Money won World Cinema Dramatic for Visar Morina. To Hold a Mountain by Biljana Tutorov and Petar Glomazic won World Cinema Documentary on the Sundance Film Festival 2026 winners list.

The Incomer by Louis Paxton won the NEXT Innovator Award presented by Adobe. TheyDream claimed the NEXT Special Jury Award among experimental Sundance Film Festival 2026 winners in the bold NEXT section.
